My name is Tracy, and I've just joined this club.I have a question to post.
My Device Manager shows a yellow question mark next to Other device, under which is PCI Ethernet controller, which has a yellow question mark also, and an exclamation point.
When pc boots it says it can't find drivers for this device, and being an unknown device, I do'nt know if I should look for drivers for it.
I've also been the victim of a email worm virus,
and a Trojan window bomb, which I downloaded with a html editor (1rst Page 2000), on the Evrsoft site,(Just thought I'd warn some people about it)
I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the unknown device or not, but if anyone has a clue about my situation, I would appreciate a little advise.thank you.

Don't worry about the Evrsoft "worm" - it's a (very bad!) joke by the team that created the editor. They were students at the time, and there's been a lot of complaints about it on the users forum http://developers.evrsoft.com/forum/
The Ethernet controller is for networking - if your PC is stand-alone, not connected to others in your home or office, then I don't think you need it, so it won't affect your PC usage. Here's some info about Ethernet drivers:
