Will I get better results printing on an inkjet or laser printer if I use expensive paper, or can I just use plain copier paper? The salesman at the store says to use expensive paper for the best results, but I thought I'd ask here for opinions...

We only use copier paper for our laser and ink-jet - the reults are fine. We're not using it for business though - so if you want to produce flyers etc to really impress customers, the more you pay for paper the better results you usually get. We've never used special ink-jet paper. You can't damage you printers unless you use really bad paper with lots of wood chips in it, and that's not usually for sale in Letter / A4 size, just in large sheets for craft use.
