My Compaq IJ200, has stopped printing "columns", as in jokes, poetry, etc. Now it prints them, all in one continuous paragraph, with letters missing off the end, just unreadable. photos, still print out right. What happend, and how do I fix this? Dawn dawnmoya@yahoo.com

It could be your driver - the program that tells your printer how to print stuff. Try re-installing it from your floppy or CD that (should) have come with the printer. If the driver has become corrupted, this should cure it.

If you've upgraded your operating sustem, you may need a new driver. (When I upgraded from Win95 to Win98 my printer stopped working properly.) You can get later versions of drivers from the net - try the Compaq site, or driver sites such as http://www.driverupdate.com or http://www.mrdriver.com
