Go to http://www.homestead.com and sign up. They provide a lot of tools for building a fairly decent website - and it is free.

Another free site that I would recommend even more is at http://webpicks.go.coolebiz.net
This is a free web host that has very easy professional web page design templates ready to go. No html needed! They also don't put any obnoxious pop up windows or other advertisements on your page like other free sites. (Just a small button at the bottom of the page that will invite your visitors to get their own free website, and when they do, YOU get paid!) I love this site!

Hi Bart,

The original post recommending webpicks is almost a year old - look like they've closed or moved.

homestead is still going - but it's no longer free.

Are you looking for free hosting for a web site?

How do you get 'First Page 2000' downloaded
when on clicking the download button a message
always arises that webpage is not available?
I tried a few times on two different days.
George.
