I have outlook express and when I receive an email the date and time that shows at the side is usually off. The date is right but the time is not. It is always hours off from when I received the email. Is there a seperate clock for outlook express. I have a clock on the taskbar and it keeps real good time. If so where do I find it to set the correct time.

Anon,

The time shown on the received e-mail is the time that it was sent to you using the LOCAL TIME from wherever it was sent from. For examle, if I get a message from my son on the East coast that he sends right now, it would show as being sent at 9:02pm, but because I am on the West coast it is only 6:02pm here. If you will notice the time on these forum messages is never the same as ours (unless you live in the UK), that is because the server for this forum is located in England (I think) and it uses their local time. Outlook Express uses the same clock as shows on your task bar.
