I would like to know how to turn on file extensions in ME. I was given instructions to click on Windows Explorer and go to folder options under the view menu. I don't have folder options in the view menu.
thank you

In windows 95, you use the view menu to get there. However, in later versions, that option is moved to the "Tools" menu.

So, click tools/ folder options.

Click the VIEW tab.

Uncheck the box that says "hide file extensions for known file types"

Hit ok. That should fix it.
