Tried to backup hard drive to CD-RW disks but got message " Cant find CD-R/RW drives on your PC". In Safe Mode I went to control panel>system>device manager tab>removed DVD & CD-RW drives, then restarted PC in order to reinstall drivers. Backup program gave same message again. What am I doing wrong? Win98, IE6

You can't backup direrctly to an installed CD/RW. You can zip the files you want to backup and then write them to a CDR or CDRW. The backup utility is meant for backup to another HD/Tape Drive/Zip Drive.
