Some do this by visiting the manufacturer of your computer...and looking under support.
My personal opinion: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." If everything runs fine, there is really no need to update drivers.

I have read somewhere one must up date their drivers. What does this mean? How do I check to see if my drivers need updating? and finally How do I update my drivers?
