Clint,

macro
A series of menu selections, keystrokes and/or commands that have been recorded and assigned a name or key combination. When the macro name is called or the macro key combination is pressed, the steps in the macro are executed from beginning to end.

applet
A small application, such as a utility program or limited-function spreadsheet or word processor. Java programs that are run from the browser are always known as applets.

Drivers Can Drive You Crazy!
If it seems that the solution to every problem is to update a driver, that is often the case. The driver is the link between the operating system and the peripheral device. If the peripheral is changed, the driver must also be changed. If a bug is found in the driver, a new version is released to fix it. New drivers are constantly made available on vendor Web sites for downloading.

There are a few computer terms I can't find a definition for. The first one is macros, the next one is applet. Oh, and while I'm here, what exactly is a driver?
