I downloaded a pornsite onto my computer and did not realize the program's name would be visible for anybody to see who logs onto my computer. So, anybody who uses my computer would see the icky name in plainsight. Not wanting that to happen I panicked and tried for hours to seek help on the internet in trying to remove the program. I have been unsuccessful. Not only can I not get rid of the program but the porn site's are on my favorites file. I could not get rid of either of them, even after trying to reboot my computer. I tried the advice given to others(by you) who are in a similar situation but with no success. Please, I'm desperate for ANYBODY'S help who knows how to get rid of the program and the pornsite program's in the fabourites file. Thanx.

When you say you "downloaded" a porn site, can you tell me specifically what you mean? Did you download a program, or what?

When I say I downloaded what I mean is that I subscribed to one of those pornsites. I had to sign up for one in order to able to view it's contents. But I did not realize that it would become a permanent program on my computer. The Recycle Bin and Network neighbourhood are permanent programs already installed onto my computer to which I can access it and now the pornsite's name is there also. I hope i've made myself a little clearer.

Got it.

Please download Spybot Search and Destroy from the link below. After installation, have it check for updates online, then run a search for problems. Have it fix everything in RED.

Let me know where you are at after this
