I wish to know whether Crystal Oscillator on motherboard can cause clock drift on sys tray clock?
My sys is not showing correct time since past 4 months. I don't get any error message.I manually adjust the clock & find it 5-7 Hrs behind actual time the next day when I start my PC. The clock works okay once I adjust it manually when My PC is ON.But it agains show invalid time next day.
My vendor on phone told me this could be cry oscillator problem . We here don't get good support from vendor hence I'd not like to change the oscillator & would prefer to adjust clock everyday. Should I change crystal oscillator?
