My Hewlit-Packard came with Windows XP already installed. I have no disk. I would like to uninstall or extend the sleep mode as it interfers with my printing jobs and now I can't make my printer work for some reason. I do not know how to get into any of my how-to information for Windows XP Pro to help me with this. Seems like the Hewlit-Packard company has hidden it. Can anyone help? Micki

Control Panel > Power Options allows you to change when your PC goes into sleep mode, etc.

If you can't see Power Options, try clicking "Classic View" on the left-hand panel, and all the options should be listed alphabetically.
