I use Windows XP Home Ed. When I run Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and there is printed material to be read the slide show is too fast. How can I add a few extra seconds to each slide in the slide show? Thanks

It doesn't look as though you can - the help doesn't mention it, and there isn't an "options" button, which is where it would usually be found.

You could switch to "scroll" mode, where you have to click the arrow button to go to the next (or previous) picture. I've never used the program though, so I don't know if you can do that with a fax.

If not, you could use another viewer, such as IrfanView http://www.irfanview.com (it's free), or look for a free fax viewer. Try http://www.snapfiles.com (choose the Freeware button) or http://www.freewarefiles.com/
