1. --------- "New Product Released"

======================================

Hi %name% this is Joe Robson. Things going well for you?

Last week we 'soft launched' our latest Product with great
success. In a few hours, all Newbie Club Members will receive
a special mailing announcing it. And I *really* do believe this
one will be extremely popular.

Remember when we launched 'Keyboard Magic'? It's a $9,95
ebook teaching all there is to know about the computer
keyboard ...

What a boring subject!

Yeah, right. But we knew beforehand that it's an extremely
interesting subject to Newbies. And the amazing thing is how
many 'Not-So-Newbie' have bought it and wrote glowing
testimonials to us.

It immediately became our best selling product!

I'm not about to beat my chest and go on an ego trip. But
I will say, without fear of contradiction, that we feel we have
a thorough understanding of what Newbies really want. We
listen *very*closely to what they want through ...

The Newbie Club Forum,
The Newbie Club Clinic,
The Newbie Club Guestbook,
The atoms search engine on the site,
The direct 'help me' emails sent to us, and
Through the occasional surveys we've run.

So Tom has written ...
'Email for Newbies - Translating the Techie Stuff'

And I've written ...
'Email for Newbies - How to Write Emails Professionally and
Courteously'

And combined both volumes into one ebook called ...

====================================

--- 'Email for Newbies - The Gobbledygook Explained' ---
Priced at $14.95 US

====================================

Look, you may or may not know that I'm a professional Sales
Copywriter, and I write Copy for a wide spectrum of products
and services. And despite what I write in the Newbie Club
newsletter about being a technology lunkhead, some of the
most successful Copy I've written has sold highly complex and
technical products. Translated into Plain English!

But what I've learned more than anything is that we
'experienced' computer and Internet users completely lose
sight of the fact, that somewhere in the dim and distant past
we didn't have a clue ourselves. If you're tackling something
yourself that you've never done before -

You're a Newbie!

And I'll be honest about it, it's the way Tom and I 'talk' to our
Members that has made The Newbie Club so universally
popular.

Email, and the technicalities of using it - setting up accounts,
aliases, Pop 3's and the rest - is a bewildering and daunting
subject to many people - not just Newbies. I may only set up
a new email account once every 6 months - and I still get
confused because it's not something I do every day.

So my advice is to be aware that 'Email for Newbies' will
eliminate the frustrations of millions of people out there. So
tap into this vast market and promote the heck out of it!

-------- EFN Promotional Materials ...

If you need help in writing your Ads - or you're short on time
to write your own - I've written a bunch of them and
uploaded them into the Affiliate Clubroom.

There's also a 350 word Advertorial you send out immediately
to your list, or publish in your ezine/Website. Just publish as
it is, or adapt it to suit your own 'voice'.

If you write your own, then you can go through the list of
Contents and Benefits on the Sales Copy page at
http://newbieclub.com/efncopy/?%affcode%
and start writing.

Better still, buy it yourself through your own Affiliate link. It
will only cost you a fraction over $9 US after commission -
hardly a bank breaking sum!

Your link: http://newbieclub.com/efncopy/?%affcode%

I've also written a few chapters myself on how to write emails
professionally. And the tips in there have been a revelation to
some! Maybe you could learn something to help you with your
marketing efforts! Think not? ...

I remember shortly after writing the book 'Make Your
Words Sell' ( http://myws.sitesell.com/webcopy.html ), Alan
Gardyne - the Affiliate Marketing guru - remarked in his review,
that a simple tip about the email 'Subject' line had taught him
a valuable lesson.

Here's the link again ...

2. ------- "Commission Adjustments"

We've had one or two queries about the term 'Adjustments'
which may sometimes appear on an Affiliate commission
statement, accompanied by a negative $amount.

This is because a customer requested a refund under our '12
Months No Questions Asked' Guarantee, and the commission
previously paid to the Affiliate has been deducted. This of
course is explained in the Affiliate Agreement.

3. ------- "New to The Affiliate Game?"

I get a number of emails from those who are new to Affiliate
programs, asking where to start.

Obviously this a very complex subject and there are no quick
answers.

My recommendation is usually something like this ...

Download our 2 free ebooks and read them through - then
offer them to others. The books come complete with Wes
Black's 'eBrander' software which enables you to insert your
Newbie Club Affiliate code throughout the books themselves.

Then spend time rummaging around The Newbie Club Affiliate
Clubroom. There's an abundance of stuff in there and some of
the best Promotional materials available in any Affiliate
Program around.

Then spend a few hours going through Allan Gardyne's
excellent site at http://associateprograms.com He has tons of
help for Newbie and experienced affiliates alike. Besides, it
saves me an enormous amount of work. Why try to duplicate
what he's already done?

Good on yer Alan. Thanks! :-)

4. --------- "Talking about Promotion" ...

Have you ever stopped to wonder how popular Guest Books
are on the Web?

Now it's true that I never fill them in myself, but MILLIONS DO!

The Newbie Club Free Guestbook was specially designed for us
by Peter Hyde (mailto:phyde@btconnect.com ) And it's a
beauty. It's fully customizable and very professional. But the
point I'm making is that you can use it FREE (it runs off our
server) on your site for many reasons ...

# Your site visitors give you valuable feedback.

# It hosts a Newbie Club Site Banner which automatically
contains YOUR TNC Affiliate code.

# It encourages visitors to get their own Free Guestbook -
and guess what?..

*Their* Guestbook contains YOUR Newbie Club affiliate
code. So they start generating traffic for YOU!

Believe me, this is a great Guestbook, and a tremendous viral
marketing tool. And it just sits there on your site generating
customers and sub affiliates for you! All you have to do is
insert a few simple lines of code into a web page!

There are almost 3000 of them in use, and one Affiliate has
reported that his Guestbooks have been responsible for
generating a further 30% of guest books - all with his URL
embedded. Can't be bad!

Try it for yourself, and see if I'm exaggerating at
http://newbieclub.com/gbook/?%affcode%

And the same goes for our ...

Free autoresponders. It operates under the name of
Fastresponder - both free and Fee.

There are thousands of free ones being used, and they ALL
contain an ad for the Newbie Club, embedded with the
Affiliate's Code. Details at http://newbieclub.com/responder/

But the best traffic generator of all are our 4 free tutorials
and the Free First Website Builder tutorials, sent out by
autoresponder. When you sign up for them you embed them
with your Affiliate code, and all you have to do is offer them
from your Website, ezine, or email signature.

Details are in the Affiliate Clubroom. Log in with your
affiliate code and password here:

5. -------- "The Service That Every PC Owner Needs"

I often receive emails from Affiliates who sign their emails with
ads for Yahoo, Amazon, and other stuff that makes them no
money. Your sig file is a proven traffic generator only if you
target it properly.

So why not create a number of sig files that target different
markets? And every time you send an email, just insert the sig
file which you think will appeal most to the recipient.

An excellent TNC product which will appeal to *everyone* you
write to is The Clinic, because eventually we *all* need
technical advice when our PC starts acting up.

There is an abundance of short Product Ads in the Affiliate
Clubroom which you can easily adapt to make some excellent
sig files.

We all need extra traffic, and spend endless hours - and
money - looking for ways to generate it. So why aren't you
using these totally FREE services with PROVEN viral marketing
results?

Beats me :-)

6. --------- "Exciting Upgrades Soon"

Look out for some exciting additions to The Newbie Club Clinic
over the next few weeks and months. Yeah, I know, you're
holding your breath aren't you?

The Clinic has been a huge success story for us, and our
Partners have been working feverishly over the past few
months to expand our service with some terrific new Benefits.

To generate sales of the Clinic, it doesn't matter who your
target market is - as long as they use a PC. So that means
*every* person on your lists, everyone you write to, and
every single one of your site visitors is a potential Clinic
user.

And consider this ...

The Clinic costs just $19.80 for 6 months, or $29.90 for 12.
Compared with charges ranging from $10 to $30 per *single
use* by other companies, The Newbie Club Clinic is a steal.

Details are at http://newbieclub.com/clinic

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That's it for now %name%.
Keep promoting, keep experimenting, and most of all ...
Keep smilin',
Joe.
PS Don't forget - you don't have to sell a Newbie Club
Product the first time your visitor enters the Site. Most sales
are made 'down the line' from our Newsletters, free ebooks and
autoresponder tutorials. There is every chance that your
'cookied' visitors will return to the site repeatedly. And when
they eventually purchase something - you make the
commission! So just get them to the Site, and we'll do the
rest!
