1. ------ "Joe Robson's Ramblings"

Hi
there, Hi %name%, and how are you this fine day?
Not so good eh?
Tough!
--------
I've had a really hard time this past few days, mainly battling
with software and programs with tutorials written by techies!
Most of them, as I'm sure you already know, have NO idea how a
Newbie feels and thinks.
As I've said on countless occasions, and preached to seminar
attendees over and over again ...
We are ALL Newbies at something!
I can drive a car with no problem, but the young girl next door
is having real problems learning to drive.
So she's a Newbie Driver!
I can find my way around a computer just fine. But I have never
had reason to use a Membership Script.
So I'm a Membership Script Newbie!
And I pulled my hair out all day yesterday trying to follow the
tutorial for a Membership Script I wanted to use for a new
Membership site I have put together.
After hours and hours of screams and tantrums, I gave up and
installed another Membership program, and the installation
tutorial was even worse.
And after I finally installed it, the tutorial didn't show me
how to &]%/? USE IT!
Now for those who have used a Membership Script it's probably a
straight forward and easy process.
But I'm a NEWBIE!
So I can only assume that people write new Membership Scripts
for experienced Membership Script users. And if that's the case
then they are missing out on the biggest market for their
product ...
... Those who want to use a Membership Script for the first
time.
And there are millions of us out here in the REAL world.
So today I'm paying someone to install it for me. Because after
all, I don't want a Membership Script ....
I want a row of buttons on my Computer Screen!
Rant over - I hope!
--------
There are now around 10 people involved in creating the New
Newbie Club and it's growing by the minute.
Just to give you an idea of how large it is going to be, we are
creating around 50 - that's FIFTY - new ebooks, courses, videos
and software products. And that's just the tip of the iceberg,
because the amount of free learning resources will be unmatched
anywhere on the Internet.
At the weekend someone asked me why.
I replied that even though some cynics may not believe me, I
REALLY DO want to help as many people in the world as I can to
get a grasp of that beast we call technology.
And by helping them I will also make a living!
--------
You may or may not know, that I wrote a best selling Copywriting
ebook called Make Your words Sell ( MYWS), and it's published by
the SiteSell company headed up by co-author Ken Evoy.
http://words.sitesell.com/myws/
But that's not what this note is about ...
Ken's hugely successful company was founded on the enormous
success of his fantastic and widely acclaimed course Make Your
Site Sell (MYSS).
It's the Course that was coined "The BIBLE Of Selling On The
Net"
SEVEN volumes, and over 1,500 pages...
Well his book is now around 25% out of date but the rest of it -
around 1200 pages, is STILL the very best manual around for
Newbie Internet Marketers.
And he is now giving it away for NOTHING!
That's right, rather than rewrite the whole MYSS course he is
making it available at no cost. All you have to do is download
it.
http://words.sitesell.com/myss/
---------
OK my friend, I'm gone!
Keep smilin':-)
Joe.
P.S. I still do not know whether my
mail server is 100% OK. So last week I wasn't sure how many
people got the newsletter.
So here's the link again for Michael Green and Peter Twist's
talking ebook they have agreed to let me offer you for nothing.
I appreciate their gesture and I'm sure you will too when you
download it.

"Are You
Too Scared to Build Your First Website?"

"I spent weeks and hard earned money,
trying to build my own website and it was a disaster. Talk about angry!
As a last resort I tried your web builder course. Why didn't I find it 6
months ago? It's remarkable how you've translated all that frightening
mumbo jumbo I've been trying to translate, into a beginner-friendly
course that grabbed my attention right from the start. Two of my friends
have already taken my
advice and bought it. Thank you Newbie Club for a brilliant newbie
course.
Sincerely, Anne Harcot (Email with held for privacy)
Why is she so pleased?

2. Tutorial ..... "How
To Create New Working Space"
================================
Have you recently downloaded something to your Desktop, only to find
that there's no Icon appearing on your screen?
Maybe there's so many icons on there, that it can't elbow its way into
view.
Perhaps your desktop is filled to overflowing with icons so that many of
them have disappeared off the screen?
Reduce the size of your Icons, and reduce the space between them! Like
this ...
Right click on an empty space on your Desktop.
Left click 'Properties'.
Left click 'Appearance' tab.
Left click 'Item' drop down box.
Left click 'Icon'.
Reduce the size in the 'Size' box.
Click OK. Done!
If you want even more room you can reduce the amount of space between
them and get more icons per inch for your money.
Go to the 'Item' drop down box again, and open it.
Left Click on 'Icon Spacing Horizontal'
Reduce the space needed in the 'Size' box
Repeat the procedure with 'Icon Spacing Vertical'.
With trial and error you'll be amazed at the amount of space you can
save this way.
Now you'll have plenty of room on your desktop for your coffee and
sandwiches!

"Stop The Brain Drain"

hard worked PC? Registry for Newbies will help you to get your PC up to

3.
Tutorial .....
"How To Save Your Draft Emails"
=================================
Each and every email message you send is saved in your 'Sent Items'
folder. That's usually near the bottom of the 'Folder List' window (on
the left of your Outlook Express window).
However, there may be times when you are compiling an email and wish to
save it and finish it later, rather than send it immediately. Maybe the
kids' feeding trough needs re-filling. Or your Pager beeps. Or your the
phone rings - or sings - or jingles - or flashes - or plays the National
Anthem!
Here's how to do it. Open Outlook express, or Outlook, to try it...
Start writing a new email.
Click on 'File' in your top toolbar.
Click on 'Save' in the flyout window.
Done!
Easy eh? Yeah but WHERE has it gone?
To retrieve it ...
Click to open your 'Drafts' folder (usually near the top of your 'Folder
List' window).
Find and open your draft email message.
Continue writing , then send it off in the usual way.
If you wish, you can save an email to anywhere on your PC - your
gardening tutorials or whatever.
In that case ...
Instead of clicking 'Save' click 'Save As'.
You'll be given the choice of exactly where you wish to save it.
Give it a name and click 'Save'.
Do the same if you want to save an incoming email to a folder of your
choice. Just open the email and 'Save As' as above.

"So
You Think Your PC Is Safe.
Boy Oh Boy How Wrong You Are!"
Is it safe from hackers and virus spreaders who take great pleasure in
digging around and spying inside it, then stealing your personal and
valuable information? Think they can't do that? Think because you've got
Norton, you're automatically protected? Wondering why your PC is slowing
down so much? Stop the Information Hackers and Virus Spreaders DEAD.
This may shock you ...
